Akbash

We are pretty excited to bring one into our home, since he had one growing up, and adored him. Anyone else a fancier? • DumDog Posted : 7/29/2007 11:35:37 AM i used to want one years ago. from what i read about them they sounded like the perfect home guardians.... i didnt have live stock.. just wanted a guard dog.... i'd love to have one, i love the LGD personality. some day i might get one for my mom because she is starting her own goat herd... and we have 'yotes all over the place out here... my mom isnt a dog person in that she wants one in the house all the time. she grew up on a farm and the dogs were all working dogs, not pets. so an Akbash type dog would be perfect for her as opposed to a collie or GSD. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
