Sallie - Lab, Shepherd and ?

Can you help me determine just what Sallie's pedigree may be? I know she has lab and german shepherd, but isn't there something about the eyes, and when she is confronted by something scary, the hair along her spine stands straight up. Plus she is a very large part Angel.

Cole, I think that the shepard is a good call, but without seeing her can't really say lab. Maybe golden retriever because of the coloring. Anyway, she's cute!!!

Here's a couple more pictures of her. I know when she is alarmed the hair stands up in a perfect 'ridge' along her backbone from her head to her tail. Very loud, deep bark, but she is also (am i prejudiced?[:-]) very intelligent and quick to respond. seems to talk back also. kind of a singing type attempt at communication.

She looks a lot like Max, who I also think is a lab/shepherd X. He also has a wide strip of thick hair running down his back from his neck to his tail, but his stands up in two spots - one up by his neck and the other by his tail - especially when he spots a squirrel.[

] Max is smaller (65 lbs.) than most full grown male labs or shepherds, so I think there must be a little something else in the mix.

yeah, you are probably right on. sallie's hair stands up in a solid line from front to back, and her ears go straight up! i want to get a picture of that, but have to be ready. don't want to tease her. i think dogs are kinda like we are, never know our true bloodlines.

What a beautiful dog. Definetly has german shepherd in her, i wouldn't have guessed lab, but the other breed is a real mystery...

Yes, and if you met her, her disposition would rock you. she is the sweetest dog i have ever known, and i have known quite a few. very patient, as we give her physical therapy on the left front leg which is still paralyzed, and she just endures it.
