• forpaws Posted : 4/1/2007 5:22:24 AM Curt, I agree with you Black Mouth Curs are AWESOME breed. My question to you is why do you have your dog on a chain? Instead of getting a strong recall on him or her.?!?!?!?!?! From the picture, your BMC looks to be what they call a Southern Black Mouth Cur because of the lite coloring.   I also have a BMC and I think they are AWESOME myself. BMC's ROCK! Just curious as to why you chain yours up? They are sooo cute!!   They are not cute when treated wrong or handled wrong like the Bully Breeds. They often are mistaken for a Pit Bull mix because they also have the broad head and strong jaws. But used to hunt, herd or guardianship. • forpaws Posted : 4/3/2007 6:11:35 AM I can relate to that. Mine also will attack the lawnmower or a wheel barrow. Silly dogs. But yes, they are awesome dogs. I love them and rescue them.
