    any guess on him??

adopted from North Shore Animal League, he's about 10wks here.  They said Lab, i don't see it but would like some opinions.  He has a great attention span, sits on command, housebroken.  Thanks all!

I'm not sure what breed he is ...but I do know has the most beautiful expression on his face.  He looks so sweet.  wow.

I don't have any guesses, but I also have to comment on his sweet face... made me melt!

He looks so serene... that is a wonderful picture.
As for breed, I don't know. I'm no good with puppy faces. For some reason the first breeds that popped into my head were Pit and GSD, but when I actually think about it I have no idea why.
    Aren't I helpful today?

He is so cute!  Judging by the way he is colored and how short his face is, I would guess he has a little Austrailian Shepherd in him.  His ears are big and floppy like a lab.  Are his feet webbed?  That's a Lab trait.  Whatever he is, he looks great!

    OH MY GOODNESS!!!
The shock that came over me when I saw this picture was overwhelming.

I adopted my dog from the Michigan Humane Society in Detriot a year ago. The breed said "border collie" I am not a stupid person - especially when it comes to dogs. She had two sisters - one of which had a rottweiler look to it.
I drove myself crazy for months trying to figure out what breed she was - the vet didn't even have an idea.
So I kept searching the internet.
    I found this:
    A plott hound:

    My guess is plott hound.
I think my pup is a mix of a plott hound, lab, and even a pit bull - over time the idea of breeds changed. But I think those three are definately contenders.
here are some pictures of my baby when she was little:

and here are - pretty much full grown pictures:

I definately think that you cute lil one is at least part plott hound.

    your post made my day!
I have never seen another dog that looked so similar to mine!

Not so strange.  There is something about that adorable face and head that say GSD to me.  It will be interesting to see what he looks like when he grows up.

wow thats amazing!  the brindle coat really throws me off, and sometimes i think his ears are going to stand.   i'm learning that there are lots of brindle breeds that i've never heard of .   there is definitely a resemblence. when i first saw him i immediately thought shepherd.   it seems like everyday he looks like something else, a real Heinz57.   this pup is quite a character, very smart, learns quickly.  LOVES being outside in all kinds of weather.  i'm so anxious to see him in a few months.  i'll keep you posted!!! thanks so much!

He is ADORABLE!! He reminds me of my Sassy, but her hair's a little longer and fringy in places. She's been guessed to have Austrailian Shepherd, Border Collie and Chow in her.

We took in some pups that resemble him well at the Humane Society, and they are guessed to be a Shepherd/ Pit mix.
