Bernese Mountain Dogs and Golden Retrievers

I've always thought they were beautiful dogs. • melindar Posted : 2/9/2007 12:45:07 PM Here's a copule pictures for you.   The ones I've met have really nice temperments.  This is what AKC says about temperment:   Temperament The temperament is self-confident, alert and good-natured, never sharp or shy. The Bernese Mountain Dog should stand steady, though may remain aloof to the attentions of strangers. Grooming & training I'm not sure about as I've never owned one.  If you're worried about grooming being an issue what about a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog?  They look almost exactly like the Bernese, but have short hair instead (also great temperments). 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
