• So I'm trying to Guess... purple chaps Posted : 1/16/2007 9:00:45 PM This is JD. He'll be 3 in August. I saw his mom when I picked him up (she was a PB GSD) They said he dad just wandered in...they said lab..not sure I really believe it.   This picture was taken in 2005. This one was taken about a month ago while he was taking up the habit of being a mountain dog... Any guesses. The vet and I back home both thought there may have been collie in there (or border collie...he's too damned smart for his own good!) But hubby thinks I'm wrong. Anyone? And not all collies are giant- my foster boy Skye was around 55 pounds and almost exactly the same size- a lot of the 'pet bred' lines of collie are not huge.
