Now at 8 months, any thoughts what she is?

Oh she looks like she's quite the character, elegant and silly I love the stretched out frog legs picture. [:D] Can't tell you what she's crossed with.

Yes, she is a long legged long body lady dog when she stretches out like that. then she curls up on a corner of the sofa and looks so small.

I personally don't think she's mixed with lab. She doesn't have a lab head. I always wonder if Rupert (rott X) is mixed with lab, bc in my opinion he has a classic lab head/face/muzzle.

You know, it's REALLY unlikely (since she's got no white) but she looks a LOT like Mal in a few of those pics- jut the body shape.

Maybe I'm crazy but I'm just not really seeing the Doberman in her... the only thing maybe that looks Dobe to me is those long straight forelegs, but that could be due to her age. I think when she matures and fills out her body will look even more blocky and less Dobe-like. There are other breeds with black/tan coloring and the "eyebrows"... I think I agree with spiritdogs about the hound dog idea. That could account for the nose and even the coloring. I do think her body looks pretty Labby too.

Black and Tan Coonhound mixed with something smaller and with naturally standy-uppy ears? What part of the country are you in? Depending on where you live, that gets more or less likely.

Definately a Dobe mix. What a sweetie!

now at 10 1/2 months, she is getting gray little tuffs on the sides of her upper rear legs.
    kinda like shedding?
    they pull out easy
    little groupings
unless this is from her stress of 1st time at the dog park? this kinda started after that. - 2 weeks ago.

you know, I was thinking that too. The head shape, body postures, and the tail carriage also look very malinois-y in some of the pics. But in others, well, no.
The chest looks rottie to me, which would give you the color as well.
Although another option is collie/rottie. Go look at some pics of smooth coated collies. Would explain the ears.

Rotties are much beefier/broader looking. Henri is long and thin/narrow.

actually, I have this thread going in the photo area.
look at the last few posts.

Henrietta is small for a Dobermann sized dog (almost 11 months and 48 lbs). and she sure looks a lot like this Min Pin, but larger.
So could she be a Min Pin mixed with something larger???

Alot of her shots remind me of my little man [:D] (he's a Shephed/border collie)
    My first reaction was Shepherd/Dobe

Very sweet looking none the less
