Chihuahua....

I LOVE MY CHIHUAHUA!!!! 
I never really liked chihuahuas before we got Shane.  But we picked him out right after he was born and visited him several times before we brought him home when he was 3 months old.  He's the greatest dog. 
He's got the greatest temperment, he gets along with every person and dog he comes in contact with.  When he was our only dog he had sort of a dominance thing, that's why we got a female dog.  But soon after we brought her home, he let her take over being the alpha.  he's so flexible, he adapts easily. 
 
he's very very very affectionate, 95% of the time when he's sleeping he has to be laying down touching one of us or on our laps, he sleeps in the bed with us and has to be against me. 
 
when playing with other dogs, he thinks he's a big dog.  he plays a bit rough with dogs his own size, but that's probably because he's been around big dogs his entire life. 
 
i love his short hair, although we were hoping he'd get long hair like his daddy.  his coat's a little bit longer than most short-haired's but still not long.  and he is a bit bulkier than most chihuahuas, he has a broad chest and is incredibly muscular.  when he was a puppy he'd stand on his two front legs like he was doing a hand-stand for a few seconds.  very weird.
