    new puppy Sampson

Here is the dog we're pet-sitting for, he's only 10 weeks old.  They know he's a mutt, they don't know what the parents are.  Any ideas?

and a little about his personality, he's a MAJOR chewer, which is probably just because he's a puppy, he's very playful and actually somewhat of a bully.  he's kinda mean to my gsd mix Miya, he growls and bites and will play really rough actually trying to get them mad.  he actually snapped at miya the other day when they were playing tug of war and i had to grab him off her before he hurt her.  and he's so little!  we're definitely trying to stop the aggressive behavior before he grows up (we watch him every other weekend for them while they go out of town and they come over with him a lot).  oh and he slept in the cage in our living room last night and in the middle of the night i came into the kitchen very quietly, no lights, and he started growling and barking like he was a little guard dog lol.

    thanks for the feedback.

GSD mix? The snout and the fur seem GSD but the ears laying down maybe something else.

I know someone who has a dog that looks almost exactly like that as well..
I'm pretty sure they told me she's half Border Collie and half Golden Retriever.

    Very cute!

It's so hard to tell with a dog f his colours and build, as there are soo many different mixes that look exactly like him. My best guess would be Golden Retriever/German Shepherd or Golden Retriever/Border Collie (I think the latter is more accurate as he looks similar to my Toller/Border Collie, Tango, as a pup - just bigger. That, and there's virutally no chance of him being the same breed as Tango because of the Toller's rarity and the fact that there aren't many BYB's breeding them). More often than not though, any dog adopted from the shelter, HS, etc. are a mixture of 3 or more breeds.
