Am I part Gordon or BelgianTervern

I say Rott because of the general shape of the head.  It's a little bit wide and the muzzle's just about the right type, although longer than a purebred Rott.  The butt spots and eyebrows go along with the black and tan color, it's not specific to the Rottie.  I still can't get over how beautiful he is!

Here's one more clue,,,his black ears are short for floppy ones and they have long flowing red and brown hair off them.  We named him Red for the red hair,,,,that is why I thought maybe Irish setter too...

His demeanor is calm and sweet (except for moments of anxiety from his history)

Hop on some of the English Shepherd forums, but I suspect you have an ES mix- quite a few of them AREN'T registered, they're sort of a 'farm type' dog much like Black mouth curs and carolina dogs wehre you have a pretty large unregistered rural population (much of which *isn't* fixed)
