Romans had mastiffs - they were simply bred to be agile - and ferocious. Mastiffs were bred as war dogs up to the 19th century. Not war service dogs, but the kinds of dogs that could wreak havoc on entire platoons - or native detachments - or civilian refugees, unfortunately. This is not to denegrate mastiffs, quite the opposite, it is a testament to what breeders have done to turn the giant breeds into today's
gentle giants.
LOL, they have one dark blue labeled as a choc/black. That's not genetically possible.
I'm not a huge fan of their touted purpose of producing "personal protection" dogs, but probably it's a real need where these dogs are originating. And I'd really love to see a specific anti-dog-fighting statement.
$1500 for a five day training course? Irena Farm companion dog boot camp just opened for business! Heck, I'll even throw in some sheepdog and goosedog training.
