What is Zack?

I got Zack at the SPCA shelter. He's about 2 years old and a great dog. Any ideas about his breed? Or breeds? His ears are down in the picture but they are fairly big and lots of long hair. One is always up and one down unless he sees boogers out the window then they both go up. He has med. coarse hair on his body but it's sparse and you can see his skin.

He looks like a Westie (West Highland White Terrier) or Westie mix to me. Do you have any more pictures of him? How much does he weigh?

I've had a westie in the past. I will attach a picture of him. He definitely looks to be a Westie or Westie mix to me, too. He's a cutie!

he's definitely a westie.. I'd say purebred of two pet quality. I have a rescue right now who looks just like him. Approximately how much does he weigh? I have 3 westies and my family breeds if you every have any questions let me know [sm=happy.gif]

Definitely A Westie! I'd know that shaggy face anywhere. We got one for Christmas and boy is he a lot of fun! Enjoy him, they are so smart and charismatic. He has the whole neighborhood doting on him! All the neighborhood kids come over to say hi to him when he's out. They are friendly, outgoing tenacious pups!

I agree mostly Westie, he got a mischievous look to his face Jack Russel mix maybe?

His hair reminds me of my very hairy hairless chinese crested. They have terrier bearded faces, which you usually see shaved. Ears can be both prick or floppy or both - there would be a long fall of hair off the ears similiar to a papillion. The hairless variety can have a full coat of hair all over (as mine does), but you can see how thin it is on the body and there is no undercoat anywhere.

He's too stocky to be purebred, but he could be a mix. The face is very Westie - that huge button nose! [
