    Briards, "doodles"? or what?

wow. look at these beauties...the black is a female "milkdud" about 30 lbs

the "goldie" is a male about 30 lbs also

(I had to toss in the beardie white/gray just cause he's so adorable, but he's already adopted. )

They're gorgeous bls4pets, thanks for that - i'll def keep these guys in mind cos this is pretty much the gist of the kind of dog i'd like to adopt. I have yet to locate my adoptee btw, i am from Australia and i don't see many of these dogs around. We have alot of small terriers and pitbulls here.

you're welcome. I can't decide which one is cuter but that 2nd guy looks way too much like Benji to not want to smooch him right between the ears!

Will this be your first dog? Ever been around  a terrier /mix?  I had a briard once, (herding-worker of course, not terrier) and they are very high drive, demanding dogs that need a lot of   something  to do!

    This was my fella.

Aw, i can't seem to view your file for some reason ?

I have been around terriers probably terriers that are most likely mixed - only the small ones though and already they are quite high in energy lol.
It's been a while since i had a dog actually but my last one was a husky and he was alot to cope with esp since some of the people in my house weren't as fond as i was/am with animals. I've a long while to think about it and plan over it but i think i'm ready to adopt again .. =) This time better prepared lol.

PS. The 2nd one does look alot like Benji, that was a great movie ... don't know how many times i watched Benji as a kid, kind of makes me want to rent it out again hehe.

#2 looks VERY much like my sister's Wheaten Terrier/Bearded Collie cross.

Look at this site to see what I mean.

highly unlikely that there is a briad recently involved.  not enough bone or substance.  there are any number of combinations that will look like that.  I owned one which as wire hair X cock a poo.

I don't think any of them are Wheatens or Wheaten mixes. Wheatens are very popular dogs in Boston, I see them all the time and my friends have one as well. Their fur is very soft, hairlike, light cream to light beige, the only darker parts would be on the ears and face... when it's long it looks soft and shaggy (your dog #2's fur looks more wiry), when short the fur looks almost poodlish. Their bodies and heads are very blocky and square.
