    Hmmm, not to long ago I watched that movie with my little sister and was curios to know what breed that dog was. Well, in the beginning. Some said she was a collie mix, I looked for images in google..some looked similiar but I cant be sure. It was only on the first movie, Do Littles best friend. [:D] lol odd for me to ask, but I thought she was a beautiful breed. Anyone have ideas?

    WHICH Dr. Doolittle? The first one (with Rex Harrsion) or the second with Eddy Murphy?

    Are you talking about the black and white dog? I think she looks like a Border collie mix but I could be looking at the wrong one.

    Here is the cover from the latest dolittle, is it one of thoes dogs?

    Lol, no im talking about the very first dog that showed up in the first movie. The one where she was the best friend of Dr.Do Littles childhood. She was taken away becuase his father thought he needed real human friends. [:D]

    s a child, John Dolittle (Murphy) could talk to animals. He'd have long conversations with his pet dog (voice by Ellen DeGeneres) about what animals think about people and why dogs greet each other the way they do.
     
    Theres a little intro, it mentions his talk..im going to look up Ellen, perhaps I'll find something lol.

    I am pretty sure I know the dog you mean - I think she was also in Homeward Bound II - I would guess she is an Australian Shepherd (maybe a mix)... If the link works, there is a small B&W picture of her and the rest of the dogs - she's on the far left by the hound![:D]

    I'm pretty sure this is her too - sorta cut out of the picture though!
