Dalmation cross or German Short Hair mix

Ok, whatta yah think? The rescue agency where we got her called her a Dalmation cross, but the trainer thinks she's a German Short Hair cross (maybe because she's brown & white). She weighs about 27 lbs and probably has some skinny dog in her as she is very lean and has a similar body shape to our other dog who is a whippit cross. She has no undercoat and her eyes are "one silver, one gold." I understand that dalmations have "special pee" and our grass is now almost completly brown where she relieves herself, so my guess is dalmation / whippit cross.

IMO opinion shes got to be a Dalmation mix (dals come in brown and white) the spots are too large and dark to be a GSP. Shes is so cute! Wow what a beauty!

Definitely Dalmatian!  Hard to tell what else she's mixed with, though I gotta say the face shape reminds me of Doberman, and the ears seem very terrier-ish.  Who knows!

She looks like a liver spotted Dalmatian to me, quite possibly a purebred. I don't think she has any German shorthaired pointer in her, they are generally a bit bigger than Dalmatians. By the way she is gorgeous!

Dalmation--no Pointer there! Her head is very Dal in shape (Pointers heads have a higher brow ridge and their muzzles are shaped a bit differently than a Dal's). She is a lovely girl.

[sm=crazy.gif] blah, I couln't find the scratcing head smiley...

I see dalmation mostly, very beautiful dog!

LOL Lorib! I think Dals have a higher PH in their urine than other dogs and that sometimes leads to them needing special management to avoid stones or issues like that. [;)]

Shes beautiful whatever she is.:)  I have heard that ALL female dogs have pee that will kill grass.  BOTH of my females one a beagle and one a mix both kill our grass wherever they pee repeatidly.  My neighbors who breeds Rots said that its a female dog thing.:)
