Where does your dog sleep at night?

     in their crates

My furbaby sleeps in my room. She has a crate on the floor next to my side of the bed. We use to let her sleep on our bed but I had a baby and it got crowded. The baby is moving in her room so we might let our furbaby sleep in our bed again.

Sadie sleeps with my hubby and I.  She starts out under the covers but gets too warm quickly and ends up curled up against me, or draped over me!  She does stay in her crate during the day when we are at work so we try not to put her in the crate other than that, or when we have to be away from home.  All of the dogs we have had have slept with us, it wouldn't seem right if they didn't Big Smile

My dog sleeps in my room, so far in his crate (not closed) or on the carpet next to my bed.

Both sleep in their closed crates downstairs, but as they get a little older I will give them more choice.

    • Puppy

My little terrier (looks like Benji) is a 4.5 year old puppy.

So rambunctious I can't keep her in the same room when I'm not giving her my attention.

Even if I put her in a carrier to sleep, she'd bark non stop as long as she knew I was in the room.

So it's either the bathroom or the back porch for her.

Taco is our Chihuahua and he goes back and forth between our bed and our daughter's bed. Tyson is the Great Dane and is sleeping with me for now...His crate has been ordered but hasn't come in yet, so he has to be where he'll wake me up if he gets up so I can take him out. Once his crate comes in though he'll be sleeping there until he's reliable with the potty training. Then he'll likely have a bed either in the living room or my daughter's room.

All mine sleep in my bed, except for my shepherd - she has a room with a dog bed, TV, computer. LOL  What's not so funny is the fact that she HATES my female Cresteds and went after one of them about a year ago, so she can't be around them.  I have one cat (lost a second cat 3 months ago) and this cat just sleeps wherever he wants.

We bought a child size bed for our 2 to keep them off the new couches. I got it at the goodwill the whole thing cost about 40 bucks much less then most quality doggie beds and that included sheets and blankets. They love it and about 8 every night they go get in bed.

Mine sneer at doggie beds, no matter how ornate or expensive. One dog sleeps under my bed, usually with her tail poking out so I can step on it, and the other on the carpet next to the bed. In hot weather, one takes the bathroom and the other sleeps on the tile, right outside the bedroom, with her head on the bedroom carpet. I have weird dogs. Only cats sleep on the bed. Oh, and me.

In our bed, usually curled up in a ball under the covers behind the bend of my knees.  If he gets hot he moves to the end of the bed.  DH is always so amazed that such a little dog can take up so much room in a king size bed.

Lexie sleeps outside on a runner at the barn. She goes nuts if she has to stay inside at night, she tears the house up and if we put her in a crate she whines all night.

Sadie sleeps in the bed with me :).

Greta sleeps on a dog bed in the floor in the bedroom, on my side of the bed, where she can raise up and lick me every once in a while.

Veronica sleeps in bed with me and my husband.

When it's cold she's very snuggly and comes up to the top of the bed and sleeps between us with her head on the pillow; and sometimes she gets under the covers.

When it's warm she still sleeps between us but she prefers the end of the bed and stretches out on my side...cuz I'm short.

Josephine sleeps in one of her dog beds, Red usually sleeps in her bed in the bedroom unless she's looking for me and then she sleeps next to me on my husband's pillow.

My two cats spend most of the night at the end of the bed.

Henry sleeps in our bedroom, either in our closet or on our bed.
