Have you purchased from dog.com

    I placed an order a couple weeks ago and got it in a week which is reasonable since I did not ask for any special shipping.  The Gentle Leader head collars  I got two for less than the price of one in any pet store around here.  I like the cotton lead that I purchased but was disappointed with the Snap Leash3/8 X 6 foot.  I have arthritis and am always looking for a real comfortable lead....this one is lovely but on looking at the tag it indicates that it is only for dogs under 50 pounds.  Sunny is 75 pounds.  If the write up online indicated this weight limit I would not have purchased the item.  Please include this kind of information in the write up of the item.
     
    I know I am probably the only person on the planet to still have dial up connections from home...but I found the site frustrating to work on.  I asked for leads/leashes and had to go through many pages of collars and leads.  It took me over an hour to find and order three items.  When I would go back looking for something I had to scroll back through pages and ultimately stopped because I had an appointment to keep.  I might have purchased more if the items I wanted were easier to find.
     
    I am hoping this comes across as constructive criticism as that is my intention.  I will continue to check the site and make purchases as I need more items.

    Yes, they had something no one else had, a cooler mat for my arctic/sub-arctic dog.

    Still pretty new to this site. I haven't purchased from dog.com yet, but when ready to make my next online dog purchase, I will certainly check them out!

    I just placed my first order, and while the tracking says it should be here tomorrow (2 days!), I kept getting an error message when I was placing the order.  So now I have three orders coming to me, all the same, and it's going to be a hassle to send them back.  But the prices and selection rock.

     If you didn't get a conformation number at the end of your order it didn't go through. If you did it will start with a W4 and be a series of numbers. If you did get three order numbers, e-mail me at [email=jbates@dog.com]jbates@dog.com[/email] with the numbers and I'll be happy to pull the orders so you only get one :)

    Thank you, Jaime!  It happens that I called Dog.com right away, as soon as I found out, and they told me that the orders had already shipped, but they were sending me prepaid labels to return them with.  So we'll see how that goes.  I didn't get a confirmation number on the screen, just an error message, and the confirmation emails didn't show up for hours.   Since most places, you get confirmation messages quickly, I tried again, thinking it hadn't gone through, and gave up and placed a phone order.  Whoops.

    Ahhhh, I was thinking you placed it tonight. I would have been able to catch it by am as the truck doesn't ship out till 2 pm and the truck isn't usually loaded  by the time I get in.
    If they are sending labels you're all set! I hope you'll enjoy the forum and our prices and products. I do!!

    ORIGINAL: orangedog I don't, because I can't sicne I live in Canada. If it wasn't for that though, I'd be purchasing from there constantly. I've checked numerous products out a few times and I always see something that I'd like to have for my dogs.

    When my Grandparents go down to Florida, I've had big things shipped to them so they can bring it back.  I want a soft-sided crate this year so I will check out the dog.com prices but I am reluctant to switch when the other American company I usually order from has been so accomodating.
