Yep, your right ...NOT closer to 20 for sure and of course all the pups coming aren't mine as the litter is split between me and her co-owner. I have a waiting list from the LAST litter for show homes that wasn't filled and more to add to it so as this breed has small litters I am not planning on keeping any here but co-owning those who look to be show prospects! Glad I don't fall prey to the supply and demand mentality some people do.
Yes, the new little pupper wasn't one I had planned on especially after losing Sonny and Julie...I vowed I wouldn't be adding anyone for a long while and then this boy just stole my heart! So I guess down two add one I'm still open for another?!?! ROFL!!!!
The Am Staff total will be reducing with age..most of those guys are 6 and older and are enjoying the rest of their lives with me, I know that it is only a matter of time before I can't show the Am Staffs so I am getting more into the frenchies...same temperament, easier to handle, cheaper to feed, more expensive to vet..it all works out in the end I guess. I will always own an Am Staff, I couldn't live without one
