    Your dog(s) favourite toys/chews/treats?

What makes your dogs go gaga?!

Kongs are huge in my house. We have black Kongs, Wubbas and Kong Air jacks and dumbells for when we play fetch at the lake. Kong Airs are awesome because they float in the water! Both dogs, especially Jeta, love those"Skinneez" stuffing free plush animals. We have a skunk and a fox one lying around somewhere. LOL. I like them because I know that stuffing won't explode around the house and yard, plus I can machine wash them. Kona is kind of a squeaker fanatic, as you can see in my signature. He loves Cuz and Jolly balls, but they don't last long around here, so I only buy them once in a while. hehe As far as chews and treats go, both love bully sticks! It's definately a favourite around here. Too bad they smell terrible. Thank god for a yard! They also love those Nylabone Galileo chews- they actually hold up to their aggressive chewing, Beefeaters duck fillets and PureBites beef liver treats.

Max also loves anything that squeaks and he likes to play with empty plastic water/soda bottles. He likes most any kind of treat but I usually get the Charlie Bear treats since they're small and easy to keep in a pocket, and if I forget to take them out they don't start to smell.

Have you ever gotten him one of those plush thingys that you're supposed to put the empty water bottles in???

Billy loves a tennis ball -- any color, any place, any time.  Throw it and he'll love you ... as long as he can get you to play!

Luna isn't a toy girl -- not afraid of them just not attracted at all.  She exists to BE the pug's toy LOL

The pug?  She LOVES toys -- she never chews them -- she sucks them.  She's got a stuffed black & white horse that is bigger than SHE is ... "Sucky Pony" -- he's her main guy.  But she'll suck most any toy.  Squeaking is a plus -- but she doesn't hold it against Sucky Pony that he doesn't ... squeak that is.

And ... nylabones -- the "durable" ones for my girl.  I buy them 20 at a time.  YUM -- they are THE best til they get worn down and Mom throws them away!! LOL

Tessy...anything "BALL" but if it's a ball that squeeks it's the best thing EVER!  She isn't interested in anything else at all!

Sadie and Charlie also love balls...chasing them and keeping them from the others!  Sadie doesn't really like anything else...she's a prissy girl!  Charlie also LOVES anything stuffed!  If you give him a stuffed doll and leave the room for a few minutes and come back he'll have it EVERYWHERE!

Simon...laser light!!!   LOVES LOVES LOVES it!  If I go anywhere near where it's kept he starts to shake and get excited!  He'd chase it for hours on end...he almost gets a little too spun out from it!  LOL

Franklin...Socks!  He loves his socks to chew and pull on!  Shoes....  He'll chew them once in while but mostly he just likes to carry them around to tease you "look what I got!  Try and get it from me!"  He's really a big goof!  Oh, and he loves to chase Sadies ears (prissy girl) and it really upsets her!

Daisy...she likes the empty pop bottles and any other toys when she gets excited.

Lucy...she isn't really a toy dog.  No real interest in playing...she's the serious one of the bunch!

Willow...she's like Lucy but once and awhile she'll play with Simon and the light.  She likes to chase him outdoors and visa versa.

For treats...anything really.  Timbits, beef jerky, bones, ice cream, etc.

Bean loves to tug. Her absolute favorite tuggy is a large Cool Kong. It's ridiculously big for her, but it is the only thing she goes bonkers for. She also likes fetchy, with balls that fit in her mouth. Tennis balls are too big, but the small chuckit balls are great, and they've got orange on them. Orange stuffies are usually pretty good,  too.

Jewel has a big, orange monkey that she beats up on, occasionally. He's the only toy she really plays with.

Both love bully sticks, tracheas, nylabones, beef marrow bones (fat removed, for Jewel's touchy tummy). Both love all sorts of treats. Cheese, chicken breast, and beef tongue seem to be their favorites.

Maska likes rope tugs.  Sioux doesn't care about toys all that much - she's in love with liver brownies.  Sequoyah is my toy nut - she likes frisbees, tugs, tennis balls, squeakers, and puzzle toys.

My dogs get home made treats, but they also like Yummy Chummies, Plato salmon treats, Dr. Becker's Bites, and Liver Biscotti.  Occasional marrow bones, yogurt, and ice cream (always on their birthdays).

Penny is a pretty rough and tough dog who eats and plays with anything and everything. Some of her personal faves include used socks and Kleenexs. Daisy has never touched a toy in her life, she could really care less about them. They both love a good bully stick, too.

Favorite toy for Simba changes but he's rather fond of a plain ol' tennis ball. He loves when I throw it for him to catch in his mouth. If I bounce it, he bounces along with it, so funny. :P Favorite chew would be a bully stick, he LOVES those and we usually get the long ones and he'll have eaten half in a rather short amount of time. Treats, probably chicken strips from perdu, but anything is good to him. :P

Jackson's favorite toy? Yes. Anything and everything he loves playing with, if he can fling it around, even better. Though he does love his tennis balls!! Nylabones are his preference of chews. I haven't found any treat yet that makes him go ga-ga, he likes them all.

Astra loves the mini tennis balls!! If she can squeak them, even better. Rawhides and Jackson's nylabones are her chew treats. She'll take kibble as a treat, doesn't matter to her, food is food and she loves it all!!

Kali goes crazy for any large stuffy that squeaks. She'll do anything for bully stick. String cheese is her treat of choice.

Tina loves sinking her teeth into anything. She's not into tennis balls or tugging. Any chew thing is her thing.. Ice cream is her treat of choice, vanilla or strawberry.

Brianna loves all toys as long as you're playing with her.  Bully sticks will make her dance for joy. We're still dealing with her food issues so treating in public is hard. If I could figure out a way to turn Hamburger Helper cheeseburger macaroni into a portable treat for her, she'd be in heaven!

Black Kongs, Bully Sticks, Raw bones (recreational ones), and Treat balls.

Toys aren't real big around my house....

Lexie likes anything to chew on, hooves, chew bones, etc.... she likes to play with her kong and anything else she can fling in the air.

I've never seen Sadie actually play with anything and she won't chew on anythng either..

Greta... she likes chew bones, but nothing really to play with.

Now, the all love any kind of treat like a training treat or a beggin strip or a milkbone...

    Baileys favorites are-

    Kong (red)
I stuff it with food (yogurt, potatos, meat, cream cheese, veggies, eggs, etc) and then either give it to him, or put it in the freezer overnight and then give it to him the next day. Freezing them makes them last a lot longer, and is also good for hot summer days to help cool him down a little.

    Bob-A-Lot
LOVE this toy. There are 2 adjustments on it, to make it harder or easier for the treats to come out. Just screw off the top, put some treats or kibble in then adjust the opening to the right size. Bailey really likes this toy, it took him a little while to figure out he had to move it around and not just chew on the hole, but once he figured it out it quickly became his favorite toy.

    Marrow bones
Nothings better than a nice meaty marrow bone Stick out tongue

    Everlasting fun ball-
Another of Baileys favorites. I stuff it with a variety of different sized treats, so that some are easy to get out and others are really hard to get out. After him biting, chewing, and clawing at this toy it doesnt even have a scratch on it.

Red is just figuring out what a Kong is. I put peanut butter in it and she absolutely loves it! Otherwise any kind of treat that I try, she loves.

My other dog, Josephine, is much fussier. She only likes treats that are like cookies. Any brand will do!

Jolly ball - the horsey size one.

    • Bronze

Does a bite sleeve count? ;)

He really likes the Jolly Balls or anything he can tug with (usually a rolled towel with a knot in it).
