Piper was a winter pup and has always like snow. I let her hair get long over winter for extra protection. Now , the length of hair is just more padding for her on the sofa. She used to enjoy running with her nose just under the snow, like a snow plow. We have a terrace in the back yard, and the wind blew nice drifts over it. Piper found one and for some reason, she leaped off the top and slid down the drift. It must have been fun, cause she ran back and did several more leaps into space.
I just got in from a run with the pup in the back yard. Satans' Spawn seems to really enjoy the snow. He is running and bouncing through it with a great deal of joy. Nose down smelling every thing and chasing every leaf the wind blows. I got him a jacket for when the temp drops or the wind picks up
