    Catching some Zzz's

How does your dog sleep at night? Crate? Couch? Your bed? Share your pictures with us!

Barley sleeps on his bed downstairs either upside down or curled tightly in a ball. Puzzle sleeps in her cage because she would steal barley's bed off of him. Mornings puzzle is allowed on my bed and loves to snuggle in the covers, barley usually goes to parents bedroom and lays beside the bed as he is not allowed up from the hair he sheds and he can't get up due to his hips

Hurley and Grux both prefer the couch. Grux mostly sleeps on his back. I don't understand how this is comfortable.

Its a dog, any position is comfortable. Its when they are upside down in a u-shape you think 'how the hell do they sleep like that'

For nearly 10 years, our Bullmastiff slept on the bed with us (some of those years, a queen size mattress!).  We learned to sleep hanging on the edge of the bed, as he liked to strech out.  When we adopted Ruby, we agreed she would sleep on a dog bed next to our bed.  We're older, with sore backs and sleep disturbances, and we need proper bed space.  But, she kept trying to get on the bed in the middle of the night, and after 6 months, DH gave in on a very cold night and let her up.  That was the end of that.

Luckily, she curls up into a tight ball most of the time, and she prefers curling up near DH to me, so I still have reasonable room.  However, there are nights when I'm awakened by her head plopping down into my abdomen or her head up near my pillow!

    No photos, unfortunately!

Tacran, we can definitely relate to the feeling of being woken up by a dog plopping down on us! :) Barelypuzzle and Michele68, It is amazing the positions they find comfortable!
