    National Dog Week: Jackson's Story

Here is another one of our office dogs Jackson, helping us celebrate National Dog Week!

Jackson's mom is Kim G who works in our merchandising department! She shared with us a little about Jackson's life before she brought him home!

Jacksons mom, Jessie, was rescued by PMAR - Pibbles and More Animal Rescue just before she was set to give birth to her litter. His wonderful foster mom, who had never taken in a pregnant dog before, helped Jessie give birth to her 10 puppy litter on January 21st, 2013.  Jacksons mom is a pit bull and we do not know what his dad is.

When we decided to get another dog we specifically wanted to go through a rescue and also rescue a Pit Bull since there are so many in need.  On March 20th, 2013, we made the 2 hour drive to go get our new puppy and  Jackson became a part of our family.

Jackson is 1½  and has a 2½ Rottweiler sister, Lola, that he loves to play with but also snuggle with. He loves all other dogs, people and ALL kids. He loves to run in the yard and chase Lola or just run with a stick. He loves to give kisses and high 5’s. Every night Jackson sleeps cuddled next to me and doesn’t leave your side when your sick. He is just a fun loving sweet dog and we couldn’t imagine our lives without him.
