    Is it really Monday already?

Skipping to the next post since paragraphs don't work on the first post of each thread (when posting from my phone)

A Robin woke me up at 5 am this morning. He sounded so proud of himself. I wanted to throw my pillow at him.

Tons of stuff to do today like fix the dead fog light on my car, pack, pt, work, laundry, etc etc. Mostly work though. Need to get lots of stuff done by the end of the day.

Would really like to ride my bike up to pt but there's a t-storm on the horizon.

you sounds like me the other day. Here's some cheese ;)

The mosquitos must have just hatched yesterday because I was in the woods on Sat, near a swamp, and there was not a mosquito to be found. Then last night someone on my sar team went and laid a trail for our bloodhound and came back screaming about how much blood to the swarms  ;p

Ah, mosquito season.  It's been here for a while but with the drought not too bad.  I expect they'll be hatching in swarms after the rain we had Friday.  More rain predicted tonight.

This morning it was so humid the windows were covered with condensation.  My hair looks like one of the Duck Dynasty guys beards.  I wish that beard fad would end.  I swear every other guy you see around here has one of those messy, nasty looking beards.  I like beards if they're neat and don't look like they could be a home for a critter with food particles attached.  ewww

Meant to say have a safe trip Julie.  Hope the weather cooperates.

Speaking of the paragraph problem, I've never encountered it when I use my desktop at work, but on the rare occasions I post from my desktop at home (like late last night), I can't get paragraph breaks.  They work fine on my laptop and DH's iPad.  So weird.

Tina, I can relate to two of your complaints today.  This weekend, some allergy symptoms really kicked into high gear for me, so that's been fun.  But luckily, we don't have to deal with mosquitoes 99% of the time.  However, we have found 4 spiders in the house in the past few days, and 2 of them were BIG!  Ruby tries to catch them -- that's usually how we know one is crawling across the floor.

Ruby's last dose of pain meds was last night.  We're still supposed to keep her from chewing hard things or playing tug until next Tuesday.  She keeps looking for her Nylabones -- they are her go-to stress reliever.  DH bought her a new soft toy, so we're working on "fetch" with that, even though she keeps inviting us to tug with it!

Good luck getting all the things on your list crossed off today, Julie!

GingerD has a vet appointment tomorrow to evaluate what appears to be pain in her hips and back legs. I know she's having difficulty getting around due to the weight and her age, but she's been a bit snappish the past few days, so maybe a pain reliever will help. With her sunken back, I wonder if something is pressing on a nerve.

Sending good thoughts to GingerD.  I can't remember if you've said she's on any particular meds for arthritis or anything already, Tina.  It's not surprising that given her age and weight that she'd have some issues, but if she's being a little crabby, then the pain level must be elevating.  Hopefully it's something that can be managed with a new medication so she can be as comfortable as possible.  Keep us posted!

The mosquitoes hatched here, too. Two days ago, there weren't any. Yesterday--they were here in full force! Tina, I hope they are able to manage GingerD's pain. Keep us posted! Ruby, have fun playing fetch! I know you want to tug on the toy, but not yet. Julie, have a good trip. Jackie, I agree with you about beards.
