Sunny Saturday

    Sunny Saturday

Hi all N.W. Arkansas is still here :)  We had a bad ice storm Tues night but then it started warming and rained all day yesterday.  Today we see "SUN" supposed to get to 50's  Let the healing begin.

Karen it was so great to see you pop in I miss hearing the Bugsy antics.

We have been crazy busy and will continue to be that way for several months. No complaints here,   Software conversion count down....15 days.  We are all a bit anxious but it will all work out.

Cathy I smiled when I  read about your new linens.  I am kinda a linen and lace lover.  I actually change my tables to match the season or if I need a boost it seems to make me re-energized.  Funny thing is, we rarely have company and we almost never eat in the dining room, lol.  It is the center room of the house so we walk thru it to get to every other room in the house.

Tracy happy birthday weekend, I hope you are enjoying yourself.

Just a note* Rocky set a new record on finding and removing the squeaker from his new stuffy.  His old stuffy was in bad shape I finally tossed it when he wasnt looking.  The new one was given, paraded around the house and de-squeaked in less that 5 minutes :)

I, too, smiled when I read about the new linens. Rocky--you rock! Good to parade with the new toy first, then de-squeak  it!

I'm addressing envelopes for my Christmas/holiday cards...I'm a bit late :-)  Figured I'd do that before the Patriots' game.

Ginger, so glad you didn't permanently freeze out there . . . It is good to hear from you.  As for record de-squeaking time, why can't more toys come without them?  Ruby would have toys longer if she didn't instantly make a hole to get the squeaker out!

I'm sorry I missed Karen yesterday!  I miss hearing NC news about Bugsy's and his family!

I had a tasty cherry turnover as my birthday treat with my friend this morning.  Ran errands, enjoyed a couple long-distance birthday calls, and am now watching the Pats game.  Thai food for dinner was delicious.  I bought fancy cupcakes from another shop downtown, so that's my birthday "cake."  One good thing about living out here is that game time is 3 hours earlier, so no risk of falling asleep Before it's over.  Go Pats!!!

Happy Belated Birthday Tracey.  Ginger glad to hear that you survived the ice storm. They have the potential for causing a lot of damage. Your de-squeaking story brought back memories of one of our dogs. She also de-squeaked all of her toys in record time. I bought her one that was a big cloth square toy made up of all smaller squares, each one with a squeaker in it. Figured she'd just be so overwhelmed with so many squeakers that she wouldn't go after any of them. Wrong. Each little square ended up having one little hole in it, where she got each one of the squeakers out, and those were the only holes she made.
