Breed Specific Legislation - Does it work?

What do you see when you this dog? Some may see beauty, others may see danger. Sadly so many Bully Breeds are banned from certain cities, parks, campgrounds and more just because of the breed there are. Do you think dogs should be judge individually?

Note: The dog in the image is Rhino, he may look tough but he is a Certified Therapy Dog and brings happiness to so many. He had a tough life,he was abandoned and just left to run the streets, thankfully was taken in and saved by a great couple who got him healthy and trained.

We would love you hear your thoughts about BSL. Do you think it works?

It should be owner specific, not breed specific! Anyone who does not get their dog licensed, spayed/neutered, kept up to date on shots/vet visits, or who has too many animals in a too small unkempt home should not be allowed to have more animals. I've seen multiple dog bites in the last few months from small rowdy dogs that go unreported, but a "vicious" bully-breed snaps at someone and may have been provoked or handled poorly by the owner, and its all over the nightly news. Owners need to be the ones held accountable, as well as onlookers. Allowing any dog in public off-leash or near people it doesn't know is irresponsible, as is parents allowing children to rush up to an unknown dog and stick their hand out.
