Swimming with the girls

I've spent the last several weeks teaching my puppies how to swim. I've been taking them to the boat dock at a nearby lake. Most people don't know that all dogs don't know how to swim... as a matter of fact, most of them don't, and if you don't introduce them to the water properly...

Kaylee loves to swim!

Over the weekend, my friend Jessica and I went down to my parents' ranch with all the dogs. :P (She has an American Eskimo named Sadie, who is Lizzie's Good Twin.) While we were there, Kaylee taught herself how to jump off the bank of the lake at a steep spot after a stick. :P Kaylee swims Anyway...

In the wild, bears will fish for salmon.

Sea Water Question

Hi this could be a silly question but one that I need to know the answer to. Our golden is used to swimming in a local lake, yesterday she swam for the first time in the sea. Should we give her a bath to remove salt? Thoughts / comments welcome..

Charlie - Swimming with the fishies!

Charlie decided the fishies looked lonely, so she was going in to join them! My husband built this pond this past spring and it has been wonderful to have...just ask Charlie! LOL!
