    I have 8 in my permanent pack, varying ages and degrees of energy. The oldest is always with me. She doesn't think of herself as a dog and that's perfectly okay with me. The next older 4 rotate sleeping out with us or with the rest of the family, All of the regular "dogs" rotate sleeping...
