• RE: Don't doubt the power of a dog with strangers.
Then my mom I agreed to test her - silly as it sounds, my mom pretended to push me down, and I (pretend-) screamed
The husband of a forum member decided to see what would happen if he scared his dog at night. The dog was on the bed with the wife. The guy...

  • Re: Anal glands?
Do dogs express them, like.....if they are REALLY spooked?
Yes, but most people describe it as a very bad smell.
What brand of Lactobacillus acidopilus probiotic powder would you recommend? I'm adding 1/2 of recommended doses of the following to my boy's diets: Prozme, Solid Gold Seameal and Seacure (hydrolyzed white fish) for few months, not much help. Thank you! [/quote...

  • Re: Would you change her diet?

I agree with all the dietary advice given by the other forum members. Just some quick input on these 2 points:
2- Anal glands need to be expressed every 6-12 weeks. Is that problem enough right there to change her food?
If you have a look at this thread here...
