• Uses for "tags"

If you get a chance, consider using them. They are really neat little doo-hickeys that will make it easier for new members to find posts on certain topics., and established members to find posts in the archives. For ex if someone in Breeds asked "What are Beagles like?" and tagged it "beagles"...

  • Re: If you have a tip or trick for the new layout

Tags Either while your composing your post or afterward, if you click on the "Select Tags" button, you'll see a list of tags already used in that particular forum. You can check the boxes of appropriate ones and add them to your post as well. Thanks DPU for that tip!

  • Re: Tag confusion (janet_rose)
As to what's appropriate? No there isn't/will not be a list, members here who want to use tags can use them...and as long as the tags they use are RELEVANT to the post/thread...and RELEVANT to the forum...they will be fine.
I totally agree with Rwbeagles...

Tags on i-dog are designed to help members find other posts on similar topics . If you click on a tag in a post, it will take you to those other posts. If we want to keep those tags useful for finding canine information, it would be helpful if most of us were on the same page about what to put in tags...
