I wouldn't spend that kind of money for a decorative collar. Just not my style. I'm sure they are gorgeous and I can understand why some people would buy them but I wouldn't.
Same here. I probably shouldn't admit this, but Max has been wearing the same collar since he outgrew his puppy collar. His collar doesn't show anyway since he wears bandannas, which I usually pick up at Wally for about $1 each. I'm with Callie on that one. If
Is anyone else sick of hearing about Sarah Palin and her new book? I really don't understand why there's so much media coverage about her and the book.
*raises hand* Yesss! I think Levi Johnston's book might be more interesting. Wonder if the Palins are going to invite him for Thanksgiving dinner. I've kind of gotten the idea that SP is somehow keeping him from spending time with the baby and I'm surprised that some lawyer hasn't jumped
Oh no, I feel like a slacker! I have debit card issues though, so hopefully as soon as my replacement comes I can shop.
Don't feel like a slacker! I'm not mailing anything so early that it gets there in November. Anyway, I might just want to take another cruise through the feed store. Joyce

I'm just now seeing this, but definitely good thoughts and vibes for Maghee and a big sloppy kiss from Max. Joyce

Years ago my neighbor got a second cat and the cat she had already (who didn't like other cats) decided to move in with me. And I am so not a cat person. Anyway, I just refused to have anything to do with a litter box. I didn't know what she was used to, nor did I care. I shoved her in and out through the doggy door for about a week until she finally figured out that she'd have to come and go the same way as the *gasp* dog. I don't think she ever had an accident in the house. They've
will DH ever learn to empty his pockets before putting his stuff in the wash???????????????
Sorry. No. Not gonna happen. There's a mall in Sacramento (where I hate to drive) that has all the stores I needed to get gift cards from. DS #2 doesn't work Mondays so I bribed him with lunch at Mimi's to drive there. The mall was practically empty, I got probably more than 3/4 of my Christmas shopping done in about 1/2 hr. and then had what I'm sure

It's really cold here too, at least I'm cold. I got up early because I was going to breakfast with friends, then I went to the feed store where I get Max's food to just snoop around. I found out they have antler chews (always wanted to try those) and they'll be getting an order in next week. I asked how big they were and the guy said "six inches." I guess I thought they would be the size they are on the deer's head. How crazy is that? Max wouldn't even be able to

A little OT since it involves a rat instead of a mouse, but Davis has a problem with Norway roof rats and the ag department is always telling people to trim the trees away from the houses and clear away any ivy. About 15 years ago the late DH yelled to me that he was taking to two DGS's and the dog to the park. I walked out in the kitchen to pour a cup of coffee and there in the middle of the floor was a huge dead rat. I figured if I was going to get my coffee, I had to get out the rubber gloves

I think if someone is popping in for a few minutes to show off a new baby it's OK. Maybe close to quitting time would be good. If the plan is to keep the baby at work with you, then I think you'd better have your own office with a door you can close. A lot of places are becoming more open to babies in the workplace. Joyce
