I think I might go shopping for mine after work today. Need to pick up some more food for the boys, so want to see what toys are at the new food store I found. Which reminds me...I'd better print out the email and make sure I remember everything I need to know about my SS!

This is all excellent advice for the OP. Herders need tons of mental stimulation, or they will get their jollies doing something you are most likely not gonna like. Herders are smart-as-heck dogs, and daily training sessions not only teach them what behaviors are appropriate, but mental exercise can be just as tiring as physical exercise. Puppy classes are great and very important, but training, especially for a young pup, should be done every day at home, several short sessions a day if you can

Let the holiday stress begin! Last year we hosted Thanksgiving for friends. Basically, everyone who wasn't going home to visit family were invited. It was the first time I've ever cooked TG dinner. I'm glad you're excited, and I hope you enjoy getting to meet her. I doubt I'll read her book, though. I'm currently reading Atlas Shrugged (it'll make you think more than any other book EVER! and it's very scary how many things going on in it are close to coming true today), and after that, I want to get Mark Levin's book, Liberty and Tyranny . It's supposed to be fantastic.
