Tina, I'm sorry to hear about your Grandpa Green. I liked your story about Agnes though - what a cutie. :) Jackie, I hope Twister is OK. Karen - ugh what a drag! I would have been screaming too. I'm still annoyed at something that happened last week at work...well not to do with work, just while I was here. I work right downtown, and although it's a small town, downtown is packed with traffic always from 8-6. My co-workers were outside smoking and came in and said they saw this little

I had a semi successful trip to IKEA. I got a mirror for the guest room, a new colorful throw for the couch, this candle thing - I'm not generally a candle girl, but I liked this one - it's square and had oversized tealights that get inserted in nine holes....I tried to get blinds for the window but couldn't find the size I needed. I made fiance clean the dog run (eww....too bad the outside is "his" job, hehehe) and now he's making dog food.
The good things are that my breeder friend is letting me "borrow" a puppy for the holidays!
Last year our breeder wanted us to borrow a puppy too, except we turned it down. She had two pups left she was deciding between and wanted us to take one if not both to socialize them because she didn't have the time right then - we declined because I was afraid we'd end up with a third dog :| I hope we get to see lots of puppy pictures?

My dogs are good with our birds, we use "leave it" or for Timmy, who is much more curious about them than Sadie, we use a very stern "no" - for him this works, he looks as though the world has ended when we give him a stern "no" and he stops whatever he's doing immediately. He is quite sensitive to "no" - I guess because we rarely tell him no and because what makes him happiest is pleasing people.

hahahah. I love her Gina! What would anyone do with a "normal" dog? That hardly seems like much fun now does it? I have been thinking more and more about a Leo myself.......for the future........:)
I am wondering what both people would have thought if you had slapped their hands and said "No" like you would your pet if they did something they werent supposed to!
LOL! I am visualizing this and I think that would probably be the best way to handle things next time! hehehehe. Or perhaps a spray bottle with water in it? spritz them and say "No".

The dentist who took out all four of my wisdom teeth was named Michael Jackson.

Wow Amanda - I might have had a few choice words for MIL had I been in your situation. Add Timmy to the list of sicky dogs. He is going to the vet Saturday morning. We had hoped that the rash on his belly was a tiny allergic reaction to something, but it's not going away and has gotten worse. Poor little guy (well...poor large guy) looked so uncomfortable last night. He is so itchy. Fiance just called me all excited - he is judging a whole bunch of halfpipe and slopestyle ski competitions this
