Re: Is this something serious, or just a bump?

Thanks for the reply.Go figure! The vet just pinched it off, it had dried up quite a bit. Vet did say that he thinks, it is nothing serious but it might come back from what he could still feel. And if it did then we would try what you said to aspirate then go from there. Vet also said when/if come up to not let it wait too long as being on her paw there is not much to grab hold of to deal with one way or the other. So again thanks. I get so crazy when something comes up. I just love her so much and

Is this something serious, or just a bump?

This just suddenly came up on the top of my girls paw. Anyone know what it might be? It is not a tick, possibly a skin tag?

Re: Is this something serious, or just a bump?

We are going to the vet on monday because of other issues, can it wait that long? It has been exactly like that since thursday night when I first noticed it. Thanks for the reply.

canine Diabetes Insipidus

Free was diagnosed with possible DI after a very long time of being sick. She has been on desmopressin for 2 weeks and her SG has finally gone up a little bit and urine is more concentrated. Vet wants to try this med for a month and see what happens. Next is an MRI to see if there is a pituitary tumor. So I am hoping this med will do the trick. Any one have a dog with this condition? Also if she has to get the MRI will the microchip be a problem??

Re: Canine DNA test

My friend gave me the kit for a chrismas present Frees results were Level 2 37-74% of Frees DNA German Shepard Level 3 20-36% of Frees DNA Irish Setter Level 5 less than 10% of Frees DNA Shar-Pei Level 5 less than 10% Of Frees DNA Siberian Husky Who woulda thunk it but it was fun to see what would come up. At the time I had it done they only had 90 breeds DNA on file
