If the dog is properly introduced to the crate, shouldn't being crated be anxiety-reducing instead of anxiety-producing? That's how it is with Rascal, at least. If we're traveling and he's overwhelmed by a new environment, he will often ask to go in his crate by pawing the door

I'm glad you got your wristband and I hope you enjoy meeting her. I admire Palin's gutsiness to aim for the Vice Presidency with insufficient preparation. There are many, many more things I strongly dislike about her, including her reliance on catch phrases/concepts ("real Americans" "Washington as usual" etc. etc.) to motivate her supporters instead of making her points through original ideas. And hearing other people repeat the Palin-speak doesn't make it any more

2 of the 3 jobs I've gotten were because I submitted applications even though I didn't think they were hiring. At the first, I was young, walked into my favorite store (after sending out zillions of applications to other places and never hearing from any of them) and asked if they were hiring. They said no. I asked if I could fill out an application in case they were hiring in the future, and they said sure, why not. Turns out the store owner was listening in at the time, liked my attitude

Aww, sweet Agnes. She just wanted to make friends! I woke up this morning at what I thought was 7:30, proud of myself for finally being un-jet-lagged. As I staggered out of bed and closer to the clock, I realized it was actually 9:30. Ooops.
