Re: Grooming Powder

Huh? Did they use a dry shampoo or something? What breed(s) are they? Are just their bottoms itchy? If you were my grooming client, I would want you to call me and describe EXACTLY what you're observing.

Re: Groomer Has It-season 2!

Lisa is SAFE! YES! WOOHOOOOOOO! Major relief! I thought they all did a nice job on the Bichons, but Lisa's was obvioulsy the best. I thought Danielle's was more of a nice pet trim, I didn't see a show Bichon profile. <shrug> All three were nicely scissored IMO.

Re: Groomer Has It-season 2!
I'm excited to see the Bichons! I've never been allowed to do a real Bichon clip (or whatever would have happened, had I tried;). It's always "Don't cut his ears!" or "get the feet really short". *sigh* Maybe I should just buy a Bichon
Yeah, a friend of mine in FL just had a litter of Bichon puppies, and I'm wishing sooooo bad I didn't already have a million dogs. I only groom three to breed standard, and 2 are

Re: Groomer Has It-season 2!

Aye yie yie, only THREE peeps left! This is getting really nerve-wracking! Can't wait to watch the Bichons, though. My favorite trim of all time.

Re: broken nail

When my terrier split his nail, he wouldn't put any weight on that foot. He went nuts anytime I got close, so I took him to the vet, and they broke off the split piece. He was a happy camper after that, and it grew back in fine.

Re: Groomer Has It-season 2!

I agree with Jennie, I thought it was lame how few of them had used one before. They've been around for a long time now, and I felt I was FINALLY catching up with the times when I got mine just a month ago. I'm still not sure if I like it, you really have to play with it. Trial and error. But it really does make for a quicker haircut (less hand finishing), healthier environment, cooler blades, and hardly any hair splinters. I bought my family sundaes in honor of Krista's departure.

Re: Groomer Has It-season 2!
Wow, I just finished watching and I'm pretty sure they just kept Krista around because she's annoying. And it's obvious that they picked her as the one with the singing dog on purpose. I was sad to see Chicken Joe leave; he was entertaining and seemed like a nice person.
Yup, my thoughts exactly! I'm sad to see Chicken Joe leave as well. He was pleasant and "fresh" if you know what I mean. At the same time, his Pom looked very unfinished
