Oh Karen, my stomach dropped after reading your first post. I'm so glad that it's something "simple". We have had great luck with acupuncture for neck issues. Fingers crossed that Austin makes a quick recovery!

IMO, anything that is interesting to her, & allows for one on one time is a good thing. I'm glad that you found something that she enjoys doing with you.

They have no problems with raw. They, admittedly, know nothing about it, but as long as they feel that the owner has a good grasp of what they are doing, they are supportive. The only reason that he hasn't been offered his normal meals is because I am a bit worried about giving him raw while he's on pred & cyclosporine. I already have beef heart with me. I use it very regularly, & I brought it up with us to use for the other dogs. Making eating a competition between he & Schatzi

Annie, you might want to ease off on the sassy vibes. He growled at one of the vets this morning. It was actually pretty funny, he growled & the vet didn't budge he just sternly told Bru "We do not do that. Now sit down." Bru look a little bewildered, but he sat down & let him finish the exam. Afterwards, he hopped up & gave the vet a big happy butt wag. This morning, he ate a little for me. Then we went for a short walk. When we got back, We did a little bit of training

I plan of reading the Palin book. I'm expecting it to be a disaster, & I don't want to miss that. I am sick of seeing her & hearing about her though. I actually liked her & supported her as the VP nominee, but now, after hearing more from her, I just want her to go home to Alaska & stay out of the media limelight.
