I would have to say from the picture he is a fawn, and quite adorible. we here in Pa. get allot of comments about puppy mills, we have more than our fair share here too, and as a breeder of french bulldogs, and as any good reptutable breeder, we need to work on informing the public on what to look for when looking for and purchasing a puppy, we have people who contact us regularly requesting a puppy of certain sex and color and on a specific date, I wish it was that easy, I prefer when we get contacted

well Jamie and I are in north eastern Pa, there are some good breeders in the Philly area, as well as Maryland and new jersey, but as with any breed there are a few to avoid also. i have seen frenchies anywhere from $1800.00 to $10,000.00. it just depends who your buying from, there are alot of people who believe the more expensive the dog the better, when actually its the time a breeder put into health testing and socialazation, that provides you with a quality companion animal.

there is quite a list of things to test for and certify, spines are an issue, there can be hemi, block , butterfly vertebrae, testing for VWD, thyroid issues are another. basically a good breeder will allow you access to their home to see visit and interact with them and their animals, a good breeder will,be there to answer any and all questions, i heath guarantee is a must, also allot of breeders do import some animals for one reason or another this should be the exception, and not where the majority

a few questions first, where are you located, depending on where you are in will depend on who I can recomend you too, my wife and I have been breeding frenchies for 10 years, you need to work with a breeder and be prepared to wait if you have your heart set on the cream/fawn color, it is very important to insure health test is done by the breeder you choose, as frenchies although a wonderful breed do have a few health issues to be aware of.. your best bet is to start with the french bulldog club

well friday i was in the ring, and everything was fine until i stepped in the ring, and yet i still won my class, saturday due to pulling fergie i was the desiginated dog holder. and bait holder and ribbon holder and well you get the picture.

You are absolutly correct i could have gotten the results, if i hadnt been a little tied up with 8 dogs of ours, plus 1 from canada, my wife and her friend anne plus that being the first time in 5 years i stepped in a show ring, but you are right i should have thought of you and those results.
