After several long discussions and long nights thinking about this, DH and I have decided to take Tempo's brother. . .for good. He's been neutered already and he's coming home sometime tomorrow. Tempo is still a very crazy kitten head and he plays really rough. The brother is not so rough. I hope Tempo doesn't drive him crazy. We've decided on Tango for his name. He's black/white, long fur like Tempo but he's more black than white and Tempo is the opposite. The parents
She was given Metronidzole, Tramadol, and cerenia for vomiting. And a prescription diet.
Willow's been on all of the above. She never had pancreas problems, knock on wood. . . But, she did have some inflammed intestinal loops a few years ago that landed her in the ER for two nights. And, that is what they gave her too. That Cerenia works really well, I'll bet Freeway will be up for some babyfood or something tomorrow.
Does it make me a bad mom if I wish and hope that it is Hypothyroidism? Because if it isn't I am not sure what else to look for.
No, I was hoping for answers to some of Willow's problems and felt the same way. I understand exactly what you are saying you don't want him to have problems but you want to know it's something so you can fix it. I get that. After Willow was tested for thryoid and it was negative her vet suggested testing for Cushings

FWIW, I would of made the same decision you did, Johnny. I definately would of wanted to see if it would clear with antibiotics first. Glad Tessy is doing so well!!!
but I don't think a dog should be kept away from company, do you? A dog should be behaved no doubt, but do we want to lock our dogs up when we have company?
Again, it works for me, but my dog isn't predictable. But, it wasn't meant as a permanent solution for Gibby. MHO, it's better than giving him something.
As for the snorting, snoring, & farting.....those are not new things. They are normal, everyday Brutus behaviors!
Oh, good, so you are used to it already! It's one of those little side effects, LOL. Amanda, he got up on the couch last night??? That's SOOOOOOOO awesome. Willow didn't get on the couch for the entire time she was on Pred. I'm so happy he's doing well!! He sounds like a great boy. I love growls! It's a way of life

Dyan, has it been this long since I've talked to you?? You quit the vets?? My solution for company is always to set Willow up in a room that's furthest away from the noise. I sometimes-depending on whose here-let her out to interact for a few minutes. And, thoroughout the time for potty. I find this works for me on many levels. One, I don't have to worry about what she's doing to guests. Two, I don't have to worry about people feeding her things she cannot have. Three, for Willow

That's great for Stella! Actually, I've had Tempo's brother inside here a few weeks ago. And, he was OK. He pooped on Willow's bed--which I wasn't sure what if anything that meant. He's waaaay more mellow than Tempo though. Tempo's issue is that other cats like him but he just doesn't stop. He wants to play and play rough like non-stop and they get sick of him. And, that's what happened with the brother. He was fine with him. Then after about 20 minutes of non
