Thank you EVERYONE for all the feedback. I really really appreciate it.I can't express how much. I am thankful to be employed, but I know now this job will not be long term. Several of my coworkers are also actively seeking new employment. I don't know anyone at the competing companies. It would be hard to. In the current field I am in, it's typical for people to work remotely from home office, with employees spread out over many states. I did take the plunge and sent my resume and a

Awww I missed out too. Tis OK, 'cause a rich relative I never knew I had kicked the bucket and his lawyers contacted me. I just need to give them my bank info to process the small fee, and I'll have inherited about 25 million dollars.

Ari knows FULL well where her dinner comes from. No need for me to play with her food (besides my momma always said to not play with food!). As for the door thing, yes I typically ask Ari to wait and let me go first. ONLY because she's a crazy ADD dog at times, and if I am in front of her she'll focus on me and not go nutty (as much lol) because "OMG OMG OMG WE'RE GONNA GO OUT OMG OMG OMG" Also it's part of NILF with her. Going out is EXTREMELY high value for her, so I just

Vet ASAP. Seriously, this is nothing to mess around with. It could be nothing and it'll work itself out, but I'm very very concerned about your puppy throwing up undigested stuff. That is really not good. I went through this with Ari. No matter how much we watched her or puppy proofed the house, she liked to eat non-food items (despite us buying a gazzilion different varieties of chews). She needed to have emergency exploratory surgery at 5 mos. of age. They suspected a blockage. This was

As some of you know, I’ve started circulating my resume. There’s really not much around, but I’m in a good position right now to wait and see. I’m employed, and it’s as secure of a job as any can be. However, I’d like to find something better eventually. This is actually a 2 part question. First – is it acceptable to send an email of interest in a company you would like to work for, but currently do not have any job openings near you? If so, should I also send my resume at the same time? The company

They list all their job openings through their own company, as far as I could tell. Hence, it would be hard to find out - unless you happen to already be in my industry and know which companies around are 1. Legitamate 2. Been around for awhile and therefore not just here today gone tomorrow "companies". I think I'm going to send them an email with my resume, but I am still nervous about it getting back to my employer. I cannot imagine why, though, a competitor would want to make it

I've been known to body block people, tell them no and then proceed to instruct them on how to properly interact with a dog and ask permission of the owner first. Naturally, this was when I lived at home with my Mom's shih tzu.My Mom's dog IS friendly, but she also doesn't tolerate rudeness from people or other dogs. Nikki found people who would just grab her RUDE and would growl and/or snap. She's never bitten anyone, but she insists on introductions first AND then she's

I might have called it by the wrong name, but it's a mixture of Gentian Violet, rubbing alcohol and baking soda. Works like a dream. Gentian violet, like mentioned, is a bacteriacide and antifungal agent. Out of everything we tried on poor Ari's ears, only this stuff has really really worked. Downside, we have to clean her ears outside, since gentian violet will dye things purple. Worth it for us, since Ari's ears can get terrible really quickly. We put a bit on the mixture in Ari's
