salem looks like quite an active guy. this must be hard for him, and for you to see him in pain. you might try icing the leg, 10-15 minutes works great. gentle stretching and movement of the area will actually stimulate healing, just let salem guide you. arnica gel is a great natural topical anti-inflammatory.
