Re: What brand dry food do you feed...

My dogs are doing pretty well on the Diamond naturals lamb but I am still waiting for a reply on the phosphorus amount. I know eagle's percentages are good (even the lamb) in the holistic line. I'm paranoid after losing a pretty young dog to kidney failure. Its just those prices they charge--but if I have to I'll go back to EP and try the lamb (they kind of lost interest in the duck)

Re: Taste of the Wild...a Diamond product

We're back using Diamond Naturals also; its a great price, our girls enjoy eating it and no stomach upsets. i vowed I'd never feed another Diamond product but I really think they are checking their foods very carefully now. We did eagle pack, too and ours were losing interest plus that price!

Re: What brand dry food do you feed...

Currently are feeding Diamond Naturals L&R with a dollop of Chicken Soup canned. Great coats and energy on this mix.

Re: holistic food = compact smaller poops?

You got that right. We tried Iams a little while ago to save money and I didn't know so much poop could come out of a little dog!

Re: What does your dog's diet look like?

We like EaglePack Superpremium natural for ours. Sometimes I switch off just because I will be swayed by someone's dog who looks so good and is eating "such and such" but we always come back to EaglePack again

Re: Evangers

Thanks Jenns. Sorry everyone, I meant Merrick and not Evangers--I'm having a blonde day as my son would say. Just ignore my above post about Merrick!

Re: Carrots w/ Eagle Pack

The eagle pack holistic already has carrots in it and the non holistic has beta carotene. I don't think you need it

Re: Bil-Jac

Don't apaologize for feeding SD. My mother has had great results on the SD L&R. I used to preach to her about all the corn, wheat and lower protein, no vegetables etc and guess what? Her dogs do better and live longer than most (16 years/lab mix). I've had to change my cat from Chicken Soup and Innova to SD due to higher kidney values. I feed my dogs EP but will start a rotation with SD after this bag is gone.

Re: Why do they eat mud?

Just wanted to mention how handsome your dog is. What kind is it. One of our dogs looks similar except she's more feathery
