Re: Father Daughter dance song

My dad and I danced to "What a Wonderful World". I can't remember at the moment what my sister is using, but I'll ask her and post it later.

Re: Doctor's didn't go well today

I agree with Shamrockmommy, when I eat a low GI diet, foods that keep your glucose levels more stable - which pretty much elimates sugars & grains, I feel sooooo much better. My rashes go away, I feel better, I lose weight easily. You dont appear to be eating any protein. I think that's a huge concern. If you're not eating meat, you need something else to fulfill that need in your body. I know some will not agree with me, but I think being vegan/vegetarian isnt very health for humans

Re: Vacations

What was your best 'economical' vacation? When DH & I went to Yellowstone. We stayed at the camping cabins near the lake. It was so inexpensive and they were great! I don't think we even spent $500 for a week stay including food and the gas to drive there from So. Cali. And it was a blast! What was your best vacay ever? Probably my honeymoon in Maui... or when we went back to Maui 2 years later. I love Maui. I love the hotel we always stay at, I love the breakfast buffet (coconut

Re: i got a job
"I thought I wanted a career, turns out I just wanted paychecks".
This is exactly how I am feeling right now. Went to college, have a good accounting job but I am so sick of all the office nonsense that at this point I feel I would be very happy as a cashier at a Hallmark shop. Sometimes I envy the gardeners outside our building...LOL! Congrats on the job! Employee discount!

Re: Rory wet herself!

The vet did a urinalysis and it came back negative for bacteria. He did say that her Bilirubin is slightly elevated. He said it could indicate a problem with the liver but he didn't think thats the case. It was just a message on my machine, so I will have to call and talk to him tomorrow but should I pursue more tests at this time or just leave it alone?

Mushrooms in Lawn

Does anyone know a good way to get rid of mushrooms that pop up in the lawn? Since it rained a couple weeks ago we've been getting tons of mushrooms. DH picks them all but I'm worried Rory may eat one. I don't think she has bothered with any yet. I am guessing she would be sick if she had. We haven't watered the lawn in a week and a half to and dry it out but it's very wet every morning from the dew. (we get a marine layer every night) Has anyone had any success dealing with these

Rory wet herself!

Rory and I were napping on the bed this evening and I woke up and she wanted under the blankets and I lifted them up and I noticed that under where she had been laying was soaking wet. Got up, it was a yellow spot and I felt her and her fur was all wet too. Obviously I am calling the vet in the morning but what would make a 2.5 yr old dog wet herself???? She always has water and I leave her pee pads when we are work so she doesnt have to hold it all day, some times she chooses to hold it all day

Re: How is your relationship with your Mother?

I am similar to Lisa, my mom is my best friend. We talk on the phone everyday, usually more than once. We call each other up to share even the most mundane silly thing. Both my sisters are this way with my mom too. And my sisters and I are very close. I occasionally get irritated with my mom (and I'm sure I say things that irritate her) but its never anything major that lingers or causes a real problem. My mom was a stay at home mom and us girls were her everything and I think it just created
