Re: For Cats - Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care (For Indoor Cats)

I personally don't like Nutro Food either, but on one popular cat forum I go on, most people there act like it is one of the best foods for cats

Re: Pinnacle Dog Food

I have tried the trout and potato one for Spike since he has allergies. He did great on it, but it didn't seem like he enjoyed it much, even with the canned food. Seems very bland. I found it at Petco

Re: New Merrick formulas: "Before Grain"

Why does it all have to have chicken in it? Spike has a chicken and turkey allergy. UGH

Re: Male v.s. Female

4. Yes, it's a fact, a female dog can hold her urine longer than a male dog and some can wait as long as ten to twelve hours if necessary. In a household where no one is home during the day, this is important information in deciding whether to get a female or a male.
that is so the opposite of my experience!
4. I disagree with this as well. I know many male dogs with bladders of steel.[

Re: Feeding schedules

What about those with small breeds. Do you schedule feed? I have a 4 pound Chi mix who picks all day. I would love for him to eat "meals"

Re: Feeding schedules
Just a question -I don't understand--just because a dog is free fed doesn't mean he needs to be eating more than he should. If you just put what he's supposed to get in a day down, how is he gaining weight?
That's what I am thinking to. Spike is defiantly not over weight, his frame is perfect. He is completely housebroken, so I'm not worried about that. I think I will just keep what I am doing which is free feed dry all day (his set

Re: (this is called a subject line, not a title)

I just don't understand why there has to be SO MANY polls, why can't we keep it to one post?

Re: Rotating Foods?

I rotate between the same brand, Eagle Pack. Right now Spike is on Duck & Potato, next we will try Lamb or maybe the fish one. I know a lot of people rotate between brands as well, and that is ok too! Basically I rotate after each bag is up (since it takes us about 1 1/2-2 months to go through a small bag
