My daughter is 22 and she called off her engagement, for about the same reasons. She has not once regretted it and she found a few months later a great guy that is 30, he is very mature, college grad with a great job. She has never been happier. I agree about ace, I hate it when he gets that dumb look on his face that everyone thinks is sexy, I just think he looks like an idiot. I can't believe Mandisa was voted off, I know she had a bad night but the others were so good. I was kind of hoping it would be elliot, I know he sings well, but he just isn't an "idol". Kenny Rogers freaks me out, I could have nightmares, I like the old Kenny, now he doesn't even look like himself!

I am doing Rally with my Golden Retriever to start, I work with a dog trainer that does group lessons and teaches what to do to train for obedience, rally, agility, ect. I also am showing confirmation with my Cairn Terrier. I am getting started through the breeder I bought her from, she suggested books to read that will help. Also, it might be helpful to get involved with a Kennel Club in your area, you can find them on the Web.

Joel, I think it would help your situation (ie. offending people) if you would think before you speak, I have told my children that many times. I to am on medication and I need it, I am not offended by your remark because I am confident in my decisions for myself, but there are people who aren't confident about their illness and who may take offense to what you say. If it was me that had neighbors like that I would invite them over and introduce them to the dogs, then I would politely ask that they not lean over the fence and antagonize the dogs, they might bite. If this doesn't work, go to a farm store and buy an electric fence and run a wire around the top, this definately will deter any leaning over the fence! I know I'm cruel, but a gals got to do what a gals got to do!

I just thought of something, I don't know how old you are, but I have a friend who went through menopause, due to a hysterectomy and when she did, she had severe anxiety, she tole me she would spend hours in the closet crying and didn't recognize her own kitchen! If you are close to the menopause age, it might be worth checking out as well, maybe hormones are the problem! Just a thought.

Dyan, I am a huge Toby Keith fan and all I listen to is Country Music. I'm bummed I won't be able to watch Nashville Star. We have about three or four Country Music Festivals in Minnesota every year the biggest is WeFest and it is huge with a great line up every year! I don't go usually, because it always fell on horse show weekends and when you are running for points you don't dare miss. Maybe this year since I'll be showing dogs and there is a lot of shows I can miss some.

My husband and I also noticed Paula's behavior. It's starting to drive me crazy that she has nothing but great things to tell the guys. They aren't "all" wonderful! She needs to take a reality pill!
