Re: 2009 Sexiest Man Alive . . . . . . . Deb W.

Paul Rudd is cute, but a little too boy next door for me.
All the guys I dated and my DH included have the "boy next door" look, seriously. They're all average build, average height, dress casually (jeans and t-shirts), not pretty boys but not mountain men, not too good or too bad, just average, lol. All have been sports fanatics (my DH is the worst). I also have a thing for Luke Wilson.
I LOVE

Greasing pans with 0g trans fat?

I'm trying to convince my family of ridding our house of trans fats (i.e. buying butter instead of margarine). When it comes to greasing pans, it's always been shortening, which is loaded with trans fat. I'm not sure what I should grease pans with that works as well as shortening but has 0g trans fat. (I think Smart Balance may have a product?) Would just plain butter work just as well as shortening? What are your opinions?

Re: Has anyone here had melanoma?
Whew! Not that eczema is any fun, but it's much better than the big C.
No kidding, and it's kind of a crappy place to have it too, but I'm so glad it wasn't the big C. :-)

Re: Has anyone here had melanoma?

Okay I went to my appointment this morning. She said she didn't really know what it looked like so she did a punch biopsy and I should know the results in about a week.

Re: Has anyone here had melanoma?
Also ask about grandparents, etc..... If the Dr suspects it's skin cancer, ask about a "Punch Biopsy" where they only take a very small bit of the suspect area and biopsy it. Are you going to a dermatologist? It shouldn't be necessary for the entire area to be removed like they used to do in the "good old days." Keep us posted, k?
Alright I was able to ask my mom today, apparently my aunt (previously mentioned) and my grandpa

Re: Has anyone here had melanoma?

Okay, got an appointment with the Dr. on Wednesday morning, we'll see what happens...
Agreed - get to the Dr asap. Melanoma can be hereditary and it's nothing to mess around with. Even if you've had no sun exposure, if it runs in your family, you can get it. Have you asked family members if anyone in the family has had it?? Don't wait, better to know than not.......
From what I remember, neither of my parents nor any of my brothers have
