Re: Working pit bulls?

I think what is preferred depends on one s personal preference Their are many still loving the GSD for it others that go with Dutch or Belgian Shepherd Rottie Corso or Dobie However American Bulldog and APBT are both a good choice I ve had and like both these breeds so maybe I m a little biased

Re: Breeder question
It probably depends on the breed. With GSDs being very popular and having many different lines and types, yet being a very young breed with a lot of linebreeding, it's very important to really know lines, pedigrees, what dogs improve what or throw what problems. There's a TON of linebreeding in some lines so you really need to know a lot about what you are breeding, farther back than just 3-4 generations because at least in the Am line and west German show

Re: For those that trial/show and feed raw...

Yeah I've done it that way before, but then its not what I make it to be, its prepackeged from the company. It isn't so bad for me to pack up the meat in a cooler.

Re: Great Dane Lady/Eagle Pack

Interesting to say the least. If your dog does fine on it I can't see a problem to switch just because she did. Although Precise is ok and I've never had any problems using it. (less muscle tone on a few though)

Re: So I picked up 1lb of beef liver at the butcher shop...

I usually just put it over top the rest of their meat. But man those brownie things look awesome and sound very easy to make. I might have to give it a try, I've a few b days coming up next month.

Re: My Photo Overload
Have I told you how much I love your dogs?!?! They are all too cute for words!!!
Thanks!
I love the pure black pitty. It's hard to find pure black ones without white markings.
Well of them are black But thanks anyway I guess. I've had some black with and without white though.
Check out the muscles!!
Thanks for looking.

Re: Velcro dogs. Now I understand!

I can totally relate! Run into me, trip me, follow me, be underfoot. There is no privacy in the bathroom, even sitting here trying to type means dog(s) trying to get in my lap, push under my arm, around my feet, ect.

Re: Describe your raw feeding pattern.

I feed a prey model type diet. They get a variety of different meats. I try to prepare food for at least a week at a time. They get whole animals, meaty bones, ground meat, meat without bone, it doesn't really matter to them.

Re: Merrick Wilderness Blend- your thoughts?

I have used it along with a couple others. My dogs have liked it, the veggies in it are weird to me.
