You are both getting me hungry with talks of food. Yesterday night, I went over to a friend's house to try her Wii. It was a BLAST. I had so much fun, and everyone looked crazy trying the hula-hoop. LOL. This morning, I took the girls to the park and we fed the ducks and geese. We spotted a heron, and shared bread with some begging squirrels. Then we just walked in the woods for a bit. I don't know why small children (3-4yrs old) think they can just run at my girls. Kya gets TERRIFIED. I

Kim, I'll send good vibes. I might be able to temp foster at some point, too. If you need that. Jewlieee, I didn't know that "show me" was part of SAR. That's Kya's favorite thing. When I can't understand what she wants, I'll tell her to show me. She'll lead me to a bone on a counter, the treat cabinet, the back door, her favorite toy, etc. She is delighted with herself when she does this, lol.

Well, for Kya, it's a game. If she doesn't have a focused direction or just asks for food, then I ignore her. I think it was something that she taught herself, and I just reinforced though. She's very good at remembering where things are and where she last put them.

That sounds like a really interesting process. If Kya was more people friendly, I'd try that with her.

I just got back from the vet after taking both girls. They are healthy, and Kya lost 1/2 lb! She needed to, :-D. I'm happy. I'm going to go to the gym now. Trying to work up my enthusiasm.
