You know, some of these "sound bites" that people are using to make their voting decisions on are really pretty sad. I wish people would look into them more and find out the real story behind them before making such an important decision. Two examples I've seen in this thread: 1. "Sarah Palin was against the bridge to nowhere" 2. "Barack Obama mentioned "his Muslim faith". If anyone is interested in more than the soundbite, do some research and reading to find
If the people of Alaska think arial hunting and all that barbaric redneck crap is cool, that's their buisness.
But where do we as a country draw the line? If people in Oklahoma or Tennessee think that fighting pit bulls is cool, do we just say, "Well, that's their business"? Alaska is just another state of the US. That video literally made me sick. But thanks for alerting everyone, SD.

4HAND, I wasn't meaning to argue with you. I was more using your statement as a place to bounce from. :)
If Sarah Palin becomes VP or worse yet POS she will have a greater sword with which to plunder the nation's wildlife and natural resources.
I think you mean POTUS, not POS, although perhaps it's just a Freudian slip? LOL And yes, that's a scary proposition, indeed.

I'm not going to flame you.
A mile west or south of his residence is for all practical purposes a war zone, Chicago is running at a pace to break the record for murders in one year. What has he done about this in all these years? Apparently nothing.
Are you blaming the crime in Chicago on Obama? DO you really think one person could "fix" a city the size of Chicago? Because I'll bet if you talked to the people he helped in the neighborhoods of
*If* John McCain had chosen a male running mate, who had a pregnant teenage daughter, & a child with down's syndrome would everyone react the same way?
Just to get it out there, my reaction to her is in no way related to her family choices. I am a pro-choice feminist. And if she has five kids, a Down's Syndrome baby and a pregnant teenager, and still has the ambition to go for the VP slot, then I totally support her in that and commend her
The democrats did, yet that seems to be overlooked.
The PEOPLE voted for Obama. He won an election. McCain blasted him for not having enough experience and then chose a person with none. THAT's why the experience thing comes up. Experience is not required for either job, but since McCain chose to slam Obama for his experience, it's kind of hypocritical for him to choose someone with none. Is it important or not?

Hey, Anne, I figure if there's something we agree on, we should celebrate! A toast, perhaps... This is a really good thread. I have read almost all of it and will go back and finish it. I'm very concerned about Sarah Palin's politics as regards animals. I'm really just putting this information out there for those who may not know. Palin endorses killing wolf puppies in their dens . Who thinks that's called "hunting"? Raise your hands... Everyone has a line they draw
