Hi everyone! I am doing this for a friend... and for anyone who is curious about such things. Its surprising that a lot of people dont know the facial expressions of a dog. i mean yeah there are the obvious doggy smiles or the angry snarls.... but there are several other "emotions" that a dog can express. The only ones i could find were pictures of dogs with exaggerated features (Chowchow, Pug, Boxer, English Bulldog) My friend owns a Shiba Inu that recently snapped at a kid without any

we had a sheltiexcollie that would heel naturally, even when she was a puppy. she literally would walk so close behind you that...1. you didnt know she was there until 2. her nose bumped your heel... you would be looking all over the place for this ball of black fluff, calling her name, patting your thigh.. only to find out she WAS with you. just behind you and every time you moved.. she moved too. of course i had never had a dog like her before or sense so i dont know if that was just her weird

fencing only goes so far.. and chicken wire is junk where a dog is concerned. it might slow him down.... but he'll eventually get in if he isnt stopped. and if there is a PACK? Forget it... the other thing that i wonder about is.... if its a pack and dogs(not coyotes) then i'm not sure a llama or donkey would even even work. if it was a lone dog, or two dogs, maybe. but if its a pack of more than three then the donkey could be in just as much danger i would think. pit bulls (if that is indeed

i noticed the scarcity as well. i've always liked them AND the Irish Wolfhound but have been turned off by the health problems. but i dont think the SDH has the same amount of problems as the IWH. i could be wrong though. i know the Deerhound is very popular as a mix for people who use them to hunt rabbits in the UK and coyotes in the midwest. i want to have one of my own some day as well but doubt it will happen unless i inherit a butt load of fenced in pasture. i cant see keeping a dog like

Sorry i'm late getting back to this but thank you for all the advice :) since then the bantams and ducks have stopped laying... the ducks either have found a better hiding place for their eggs or they are on strike and not laying at all. i know for a fact the bantams are setting.
so hard with a pup...but she looks like our old deceased Zeus. He was Aussie X Dobe . He was fluffy...but his brother was slick aside from the ears like this dog. I reserve the right to change my mind as she grows/changes lol.
That was my first guess as well.... Aussie or collie x Dobe.. border collie, lassie, sheltie? pick one lol ask again in six to twelve months and i might see something different! When Sparta was a puppy he looked like a jack russell

i cant help but agree with Jennie..... its sad to make a call like that but the alternative is even worse. in our area calling AC IS a death sentence because IF they actually come out and pick up a dog it lives for three days before its killed. and the other bad thing about our AC is they dont usually come out anyway. a month ago my mom called to report a PACK of dogs.. large dogs! roaming down our road. a lot of dogs get dumped here but its never been a pack of them. these dogs were wanderers. she

our CL will sometimes try to cleverly disguise puppy sales with "adoption fees to good home only" labels.... those people have read the rules and are trying to get under the radar. others you can tell have NOT read the rules and will openly say forsale, papered blabla breed for $700. MOST of the time those for sale ads get flagged. people in my town are so stuck on themselves they will even post a CL scumbag alert. telling the world that they talked to so and so with the yorkiedoodle and
