Still no power here but the electric trucks arrived this morning. It is drizzly out. I don't have the stamina to finish shoveling, so I hope Mother Nature takes care of it. Sending good vibes for B and Karen.

No power here since about 10 last night. Got about 2 ft of snow but the drifting makes it hard to really know. Sinbad is not phased; Mozey is scared and won't go potty.

Still no power but across the bay is on now, so maybe we'll get power soon. Phone linewent down this afternoon--too much snow. Our first 4-6 inches was the wet heavy snow, then light. My new snowpants from Bean's work.

I am glad you got him medical attention right away! And, I'm glad things are looking up.

I'll try again--the Internet has not been friendly! The roads are pretty much closed in RI. (Mass. is totally closed--I think the blizzard of '78 was the last time that happened.) The wind has picked up and visibility has dropped to a couple hundred feet. I have a pot roast in the oven and the wood stove going. Hugs are all who need them, esp. Sandra and her hubby (heart attack). It sounds like they got help just in time.

Happy birthday, Luke!

Glenda, that is way too scary! Glad your home and OK. Wind is picking up here. I, too, would prefer a daylight storm!

I just got here--I'm glad there is positive news! Hugs for all!!

Lots of snow due here, too--they're now saying 2 ft or more. I don't think this will be as big as the blizzard of '78, but it'll be a close second! Started hauling in wood, because we're supposed to get bad winds out of the east/northeast, too (60 mph+), and that will just slam into the house. I went to Jo-Ann's and bought fabric for boys' quilts, so I'll have something to do if we have power. Hugs for all who need them. Bugsy, Sinbad really likes acu--it helps a lot

Doug, it's antler season here, too. Best reason for a winter walk with minimal snow I can think of. We're supposed to get 10-20 inches Fri-Sat. This means I need to get the shovels ready! Sinbad was supposed to have chiro and acu on Friday, but I'm guessing that will change. More soon!
